Remedial Tarot

Announcing a class… In the spirit of Remedial Astrology, I present Remedial Tarot.

“As a Tarot dabbler, I have used Tarot decks for years and years; when the mood struck me, for inspiration and insight on my own journey, never to read for anyone else.  I would pull a card, read the explanation provided and try to find meaning and guidance from that.  Reading books on Tarot took too much effort and I quickly got overwhelmed and bored.  After only three Remedial Tarot classes I found myself looking at the cards in a whole new way.   Now, I see things in the cards based on both logic and intuition.   Cynthia’s use of guided meditation gives each card deeper meaning and makes all the information easier to retain because it has been made meaningful with memory prompts about suits, and numbers and colours and imagery. Great class for my style of learning Cynthia!”

This 6 hours plus of live classes is intended for people who want either a review of the basics, or a grounding in the basics, of Tarot reading and interpretation.

There will be six classes running about an hour each, though they may go as long as 1 -1.25 hours. Each class will be recorded and notes about the content will be made available.

Will there be homework?

Of course!  Expect to spend about an hour outside of class for every hour in the class.

When and how will the classes happen? Will there be a facebook group?

Classes will happen on Mondays at 1 PM EST. Zoom will be the platform where we meet and the call number will be 150874865.  We will also have a Facebook group for discussions, questions and contact.

Do I have to be present for the classes?

Since the calls will be recorded, you do not need to be present for all or even any of the classes themselves. You can review these classes at any time you choose. They are yours to download and keep for yourself.  Please don’t share them with those not in the class.  Thanks.  But feel very free to use your new skills to read for yourself and others!

How much will it cost?

The early bird cost before midnight EST August 25, 2018 is $60 for the class. After August 25th the regular cost is $75.

What deck will we be using?  Where can I get it?

We will be using the Rider Waite Smith deck or one of its clones. This deck, and others are available at AzureGreen.com, Amazon and many retail bookstores or “new age” stores.

In addition, I suggest you use a second deck that is not a clone, but is a standard Tarot deck with 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana. An Oracle deck will not work.
